Bought because I saw someone posted a review about using it with the slc500. It doesn't work with Allen Bradley. Rslinx doesn't even recognize this thing. And the photo of someone using it with slc 500 plc is wrong. The way it's connected doesn't even work because you need a Tx-Rx connection. By connecting it directly to the PLC it is Tx to Tx and Rx to Rx. Post this so someone doesn't use it for this purpose. It might be useful for something else, but not Allen Bradley. Your computer communicates with it using the TCP/IP protocol. NOT FOR ALLEN BRADLEY.
