Update: Support is silent on the issue of the zipp mini 2 firmware update constantly failing. Got this speaker set up multiple speakers so I've resorted to Chromecast Audio in the absence of that. Now I see no reason to keep this speaker instead of buying a Google Home Max - it has a lot of features for a similar price. I don't understand why this thing has such a high rating. I've tried setting up the speaker and connecting to WiFi. Android seems to automatically switch between the Wi-Fi speaker and your regular router you want to connect it to, and this app is woefully inadequate. I don't know how, but it seems to me that after 30 minutes of trying it is connected to my router. Next - Firmware update! already tried 6 times. Nothing unusual here. It still fails after showing about 90% progress. Forget creating sound spaces with another Zipp; Without them, you cannot update the firmware - which is not updated. God! Disappointment.
