There are better radiators out there and you do NOT need a screw, but chances are! These screws are VERY easy to lose as they are so darn small. For the price that others will charge you for just one screw, these guys give you a whole kit and heatsink. Do your research, you probably really need a heatsink, I didn't know if I did it or not, I just put it on, but after doing the due diligence afterwards I'm convinced a heatsink is a good idea , especially in a laptop. My drivetrain idles around 85 degrees Fahrenheit under light loads, but can get as high as 130 degrees Fahrenheit in heavy gears. Without a heat sink it would certainly be even hotter. If you have a desktop there are better ones out there but since screws are about the same price anyway you might as well buy this kid and have a spare, you never know when you might need a good heatsink. It might not be the best option, but it's a lot better than nothing. M.2 NVME drives are fast but get very hot, and in a laptop this might be the best thing to do. In a desktop I'd like a better heatsink but like I said if they sell over $6 a single screw it's a better deal. I figured I only need one screw but I also installed a SATA SSD in the same system and the extra screws came in really handy so I'm very glad I ordered this product just to make sure I got a screw have; Turns out you need 5. Thanks QTEATAK!
