So far they have worked well for me. My boy nudged me while cleaning the tank and the spine went through the glove and hit my finger. I've been using gloves ever since and they don't even leak. I was impressed. The gloves fit well. They can be a little longer. They come up to my elbow, which is fine, but I wouldn't mind if they went a little higher on my arm. The gloves have an odor. You can wash them inside and out with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly and then let dry. I don't think it's necessary at all, but otherwise your hands will pick up the rubber smell. I noticed that other reviewers said things slipped out of hands in the tank while wearing gloves. I didn't have this problem at all. My gloves have a textured grip on the fingers to keep things secure.
