Bright monitor, but energy intensive.

There is so much to say about this FEELWORLD FW279 monitor. This monitor is really good in the sun, but it is not suitable for me as it is very energy intensive. Disadvantages: 1). Yes, the bright device uses more power, but I only get about 15 minutes from a Sony 570 battery, while the Feelworld F5, the lower-bright 5-inch model I also own, gets me about an hour and 30 minutes work there. Use with the same battery 570. The power consumption of this FEELWORLD FW279 is 18W compared to the F5 model that consumes 8W. See 1st photo; upper monitor 7", lower 5", they make another 7", FEELWORLD T7 with 450 cd/mยฒ brightness (contrast ratio 1200:1) at 8 W, just like the F5 5" model. That's a big difference in power consumption and frustrating, I knew the 18W power draw was going to be so bad before I bought it. Now I have it, I can see the difference in power consumption. Focus See 2nd photo FYI. The monitor on the far right is the camera monitor I have contacted Revain to contact the dealer to exchange this FW279 unit for a T7 model or something similar but I have had no response from the seller after three weeks. Advantages: 1) The brightness of the 7" screen is 2200 cd/mยฒ (at a contrast ratio of 1200:1), while the brightness of the 5" screen is 450 cd/mยฒ (at a contrast ratio of 1000:1). and you can see the difference in brightness. 2). Both the 7" FW279 and the 5" F5 have audiometers and the screen displays the % battery remaining. See 3rd and 4th photos. In this test, all three compared monitors have a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. I do not recommend this 7" FW279 monitor due to the power consumption. However, if you can only connect to AC for shooting (e.g. conventions, lectures, etc.) then the power issue should not be an issue.
