Review on Water-resistant Assistant MP22W for Improved Compatibility by Bob Ramthun

It was very easy to set up to work with my other smart plugs. I was happy when my insect repellent worked as expected. Then a few hours later I looked outside and it was outside. The switch seemed to toggle on and off, but the outlet stopped working. I'm sending it back for an exchange. If the replacement works I will update my review. Update 06/10/21: Rating changed from 2 stars to 5 stars. I returned the first unit and the new unit is working great after a couple of weeks when we had a lot of rain. I use it to turn my bug trap on at sunset and turn it off a few hours before sunrise. Don't forget to unplug the power cord anymore and leave the insect repellent on all day long. A heavy downpour will definitely splash water where it's plugged in, but it holds up. Will update the review again if anything changes.
