The labels are a bit confusing. For example, it is difficult to tell the difference between this product and "Ink Block" from the same manufacturer. But there is a difference as this one is a little less slippery when dry so maybe it has less protection. I use it in the back seats where people rarely sit and the ink pad in the front seats. It's the only thing I've found that prevents ink transfer from my seats. I've had damaged seats in my Cadillac, Mercedes and Honda; and this applies to vinyl and leather. Now with this product on my new leather seats in my newest car there is no color transfer. I recommended this product and cleaner to a friend who had a new car with seats that were "ruined" due to paint transfer. After using the cleaner and this product the seats look like new and there is no color transfer from his navy blue jeans. Don't forget to get a cleanser and conditioner too.
