I recently bought a 16" x 24" ALPS Mountaineering Camp pillow and wanted to find a cover to protect it. It's impossible to find a traditional pillowcase this size so I looked at other options like this one. I'm glad I found it as it fits perfectly and the colors go great with my navy blue and gold sleeping bag. I also like the idea that this pattern is less likely to get dirty on camping trips than the lighter colors commonly used for pillowcases. In terms of softness, I slept with it on a camping pillow last night and it was very comfortable. I am very happy with the purchase and am considering making a backup so I always have a clean one on hand. To be on the safe side I will be hand washing this case and hanging to dry. Lightning seems quite adequate, but why take the risk? Highly recommended.
