Review on 🎧 XACT COMMUNICATIONS XG2500 Wireless Headset Telephone by Lakeisha Smith

I've had this for ten months and now the battery only lasts 11 minutes then the low battery warning beep starts. This is the most important question. But there are other problems too. The headband is awkwardly shaped and uncomfortable, it doesn't hold the headset in the right position, causing the microphone to rub against your face and transmit that noise as noise. There is a switch on the base unit that has to choose between pulse and tone dialing, but my phone always uses pulse dialing regardless of the setting. I have to hit the pound key to switch to tone dialing every time I dial a number. This phone also interferes a bit with WiFi while in use. To turn off the ringer you need to turn off the phone and when you turn off the phone the charger will not charge it. However, it turns on. It looks like the power button on the headset just disconnects the battery from the rest of the circuit. So if you turn off your headset to stop it ringing and wake you up in the night and then put it on the charger to charge, it won't charge but it will ring! Worse, as soon as you ring the phone, the headset turns off since the switch is in the off position, confusing you. After that, you may not be able to answer the call in time or accidentally pick up and hang up. Okay, this particular issue can be avoided by knowing not to put it on a charger that is off, but the battery issues and the other issues I mentioned make me give this phone the lowest possible score.
