Dear Revain Buyers, I felt compelled to share this with all of you. I had very high expectations for this device and I have to let you know that while it works, you may not like the way it works. I bought it at the end of February 2020 and at first I thought it was just what I needed. I immediately noticed that if you leave the keyboard and mouse unattended for more than 10-15 seconds. The next time I typed or moved the mouse, there was a noticeable delay in response time. After you get past the lag, it responds as expected, but this happens every time you're inactive for more than 10-15 seconds. For example, if I'm idle for a bit reading my document on the screen and then start typing, there's a delay and it skips the first few letters. Another example, if I moved the mouse after being idle, it was like I had to wake it up before the cursor started tracking. After a few weeks, that irritation turned to disappointment. Then about a week later I decided to return it. It was very bad because I was really hoping that this could be my solution, but it was just unbearable to endure all the time. I don't know if this delay is part of the nature of the KVM switch. Or if it was something specific to that particular device. Regardless, I felt like I paid too much money to put up with it indefinitely. Now I'm trying a different brand.
