These zippered compostable bags are excellent. I try to use reusable products whenever I can, but sometimes single-use products are necessary for me. I'm glad there are products and companies that try to help the environment and care about their impact on the planet. These bags are working really well since I've been using them. I've used them to carry snacks and also to store groceries in the fridge and freezer. They do an excellent job at all of these things, although you have to be careful how long you use the pockets to store anything. They are not well suited for long term storage of items and although the packaging says the items are not to be stored for long periods of time (if I remember correctly the warning on the packaging is no longer than three months), they do They actually take less time than stated on the packaging. tells you. I think these bags "breathe" a bit, and I've found that snacks spoil faster when stored in these bags. On the plus side, storing veggies or fruit as snacks kept them fresher for longer. I've also had some weird great results using them to store small batches in the freezer, but again, I use my frozen products very quickly (usually within a month). Overall I love these bags and will definitely continue to use them. I will also be getting a larger size to be able to store more of my meal prep and fresh ingredients. I am very happy with them so far and find they work well so I would definitely recommend them!
