This adapter kit fits my late 2012 Mac Mini perfectly. This is an interface cable to connect the drive to the second SATA connector next to the main drive and some standoffs and screws to attach the drive to the hard drive bracket. But remember that the screws need to be tightened deep into the lugs to get everything in place and not just tight like I initially assumed. If you don't tighten them enough, the original hard drive will not fit properly in the guide hole, causing the front edge of the drive to interfere with the attachment points for the interface cables to the motherboard. The Mac Mini has very little room for error! Everything else went very smoothly. Oh, it comes with the tools you need to get the job done, except for a 2mm allen key. Get one if you don't have one. Your instructions say to use the included Torx 8 driver, but I wouldn't do that. When loosening the screws for the first time, you have to apply a decent amount of torque and, in my opinion, the risk of the screw head tearing off is high.
