I have 3 furbabies who love to ride the shore and now that I have a new boat I wanted to find an easy to use, washable dog blanket that was: 1. Soft2. Washable3. hard4. We turn and5. "High" enough to protect the back of the seat. It fits the bill PERFECTLY. I was a bit apprehensive about the material based on other reviews, but the more I read about other covers the more I came back to it. I'm glad I chose him; it's a winner! The material is quilted microfiber on one side and waterproof (but soft) on the bottom. PVC pipe fittings are sewn in the center so you can permanently tuck the "blanket" into the seat. The top is attached with straps that go over the headrest bars (you need a seat with headrests for this to work, FYI). I have a Fiat 500 and it fits GREAT with lots of extra stuff I tucked around the edges of the seat (so I think it will even cover an SUV bench seat). He covers what he needs to cover; I couldn't be happier. The same goes for dogs - we have two small/medium sized poodles and a giant white Lab/Great Pyrenees (yes the bank teller thinks it FUNNY that a dog is almost the size of a car) - but they seem happy and secure. with this.
