I have a Samsung Ultra7 laptop that I use as a desktop. I wanted the ports under the monitors to be available to me as I'll be holding my laptop behind it which makes access difficult. I needed a USB 3 capable hub that I could also connect a desktop HDMI expansion card to. Well the first card I got didn't read SD cards for some reason but their support was great and they sent a new card a few days later. That works great. You can't remove the SD card without using the computer's eject function, but other than that I haven't had any problems with it and it regularly works with both an HDMI expansion card and CD drive and flash drives. SD cards and sometimes external hard drives. It doesn't have a USB-C port, but I bought a couple of adapters to fix this issue. Would buy again.
