If you need a quick charge for your compatible iPhone or Samsung phone, this charger will help you if you follow the instructions. CABLE: The Yootech charger comes with a USB-A to Micro-USB cable compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge (QC) standards. It is visually indistinguishable from a legacy cable so you can label it. With USB fast charging, most conventional USB cables will not work. With this Yootech charger and a good quality QC compatible power adapter, I can't fast charge it with some of my old cables. I assume that the charger or adapter can detect whether the cable is compliant. The bottom line is that if you want to fast charge an iPhone or any of the 10W Android phones listed by the seller, you must use this cable or another that meets the QC standard. ADAPTER: The adapter does NOT come with the Yootech charger. You need a QC 2.0/3.0 15W AC adapter or higher to support the fast charge speeds listed. I have tested the following adapters and found them to fast charge an iPhone 8 Plus with a Yootech charger/cable. Please note that the battery level must be below 80% for fast charging. Above that level, Apple appears to switch to the standard 5W charging rate to extend battery life. I didn't have a chance to test the 10W fast charging with the listed android phones.
