Very noisy and difficult to turn
I ordered this Lazy Susan to use as a base for adding mosaic tiles for decoration. After adding the tesserae, I found the mechanism to be very cheap. When you try to spin a round board, it's incredibly loud and requires very little effort to get it spinning. I tried adding oil to the mechanism and it improved performance a bit but increased the noise. Luckily, you can buy and replace heavy-duty gear for about $15. Since a round board of this size costs about $20 and I've already added tiles, it's mine forever - everything is fine with the new mechanism.
