Review on πŸ’‘ VGAzer Magnetic Levitating LED Light Bulb Desk Lamp - Unique Gifts, Room Decor, Night Light, Home Office Decor Desk Tech Toys by Caleb Eichbauer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this magnetic levitation light bulb so much that I took the time to modify it to my liking.

The price alone almost made me turn my back on this product and not buy it (it's just a lightbulb floating in the air)! The YouTube community is pumping me into this dark path of cool technology and I love stuff like that! First Impression: Starting at $99.99 (which is what I paid) or today's price of $109.00, I'm rude for just a bulb that never puts out enough light to illuminate a room. The coolness factor or the term timeless work of art is enough for this product. If you are looking for functionality please look elsewhere as it is not in its DNA! Like I said, it's for the cool factor and it's written all over the place! Why did I buy it? Follow my conclusion (certainly not a bad product)! Appearance: Upon unboxing, I was greeted by a nicely rounded heavy block of wood with a built-in magnetic field. . There is a capacitive touch point on top of the surface to turn the light on and off. This area of the button is almost invisible, but it has a stray power button icon that highlights its location so you can figure out where to place your finger. Under this block of wood there is a ventilation opening and three rubber feet that prevent slipping. There's a barrel hole on the back that's used for the power supply, which only has two ungrounded pins (no USB Type-C in 2021?). And finally the lightbulb, it has a wooden case that covers the future helical power connection at the bottom of a regular lightbulb. The LED lighting has a vintage look, giving you a rustic, vintage look and a steampunk feel. Not too light, not too dark, but a nice addition to what you're looking for! Extra note: when cleaning this bulb, use rubbing alcohol and leave for an hour to avoid fogging from the bulb's heat! Why the Mod: Well, it looks gorgeous sitting on a table with that gorgeous round block of wood. , no, I didn't feel it, so I decided to change and do it myself. I found a large piece of wood and then dedicated it with a round hole underneath. I then put the round magnet base in the hole I made to give it a nicer look. Turning the capacitive touch point on and off still works, but I didn't add the Vagrant icon with the power button icon to highlight its location, so yes, it's hit or miss, but it still works! Conclusion: I would buy it again, well the answer is no, and why so, well, that's a price tag. Whether I like it damn it, but more after modifications! If you buy this or like it, fine, if money isn't the goal and you like art, then go for it. If you are looking for functionality and the ability to light up a room, this is not the place! A cool factor and that's it no more and no less!
