I was surprised to see how small these lights are and how many batteries (14 AAA) they use. I still like the light and the remote control. I needed bright, but not too bright, lighting in the area behind the theater seats in my break room. We can now turn off the overhead lights to dim the screen for the movie while still having enough light to see other things. With the remote I can adjust the brightness of each light as well as turn them on and off. It has no motion detection. At least I didn't notice it. I can recommend these headlights.
