So I didn't buy it for what it was originally intended for, but it was just what I needed. Please don't be offended. But I use it to clean the walls of the cat litter to remove the litter that is sticking together. It is strong yet flexible enough to bend around the edges of the box. There are no chips, cracks or scratches on the instrument; hold well. I think if I bought a second one to use for cooking and fishing that would be great!
