I bought this tape when the hinges on these plastic hard drive cases broke (now I have an archive of 30+ drives and these covers keep breaking, I use the tape to make a new hinge on it). But suitable for that. My Cassette Story: The water heater upstairs ruined the bed. I ran a hose from the heater drain to a place where I could run it outside - let it drain for a while, came and found 1/4" of water on the floor; the hose was old and cracked. The heater works in mine Old school darkroom I dropped a large print tray underneath and figured I'd get the tray out within the next hour I grabbed some duct tape and started wrapping the tubing as tight as I could and my goodness it sealed that wet house like a champ.After about 30 minutes a few drips made their way through but the tray caught it and I drained the heater and wiped the mess off.Pretty impressive for an emergency fix and saved me a major life saver nightmare. It's good stuff.
