Review on 🌱 25-inch BioBag Compost Bag for Enhanced Biodegradability by Emily Oakes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost as good as it gets

And when I say 'as good as it gets' I mean they are the best of an inevitably weak range. These biodegradable bags are made from plant-based materials and are more likely to tear than traditional plastic bags. It's a necessary trade-off that they're compostable, but it also robs them of most of the qualities you'd expect from a good plastic bag, such as being breathable. B. the ability not to tear up or spill used coffee grounds everywhere. This brand seems to be just as durable as the more expensive bags as they all have to be made from the same thin material (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong). My city has a curbside composting program and these fit perfectly in containers like EcoSafe kitchen buckets (provided by our composting program).

Pros
  • Material: Plastic
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
