Review on ZenART Espresso Watercolor Beginners Aspiring by Caryn Adams

Very nice watercolor set.

I really enjoyed using the ZenArt Allegro watercolor palette. It is small and easy to carry. It contains almost all the colors you need. I also like the marked color mixing areas on the lid. While I haven't used the sponge area next to the colors when painting at home, I can see that it's useful when you're painting on the go. All the water in the brush is cold but I just couldn't figure out how to control it so I decided to dip the brush in the water. Maybe I just need more practice with this concept. One of my favorite things about this product was the inclusion of blank card stock with color labels on it so you can draw each color as it is laid out in the product. Other companies I've bought from have always given me a page of pre-printed color swatches. We all know that the actual drawing in color is very different compared to the printed version and you end up having to draw all the colors on a separate sheet of paper for reference. This eliminates all the extra work and lets you arrange your colored samples nicely in the box when you're done. I wish every company would do this. All in all a really high quality product with lots of bright, vibrant colors.
