I got this thing tonight. I've been plagued by fruit flies for several months and have tried various brands of fly strips and apple cider vinegar with dish soap. I managed to get remission but they kept coming back. Nothing worked this time, so I decided to try this device. It's been popping since I plugged it in, and I haven't had any fruit flies infested, so that seems like a good start. It definitely attracts insects. I have it next to my window and the outside window looks like something out of one of those horror movies where your windows are covered in bugs. Fu, but at least they're out. It's pretty loud. I hear it click downstairs.
