Review on πŸ”§ ACDelco Professional CV2001C PCV Valve: Ensuring Optimal Positive Crank Ventilation by Marquez Hinshaw

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It is highly recommended that the PCV be replaced or cleaned regularly otherwise problems will arise - see review

The AC Delco PCV valve I ordered from Revain was actually the valve I ordered wanted to. Autozone & O'Reilly's will sell you a blank piece of metal to replace the valveless PCV valve. After all, O'Reilly only charges 99 cents for it, Autozone charges full price as if it were Valve, which it isn't. This time my 03 Avalanche came with this cheap pass. I think the real valve is correct but I don't know the answer. Beware, no matter which ones you have, if you don't replace them, as the car's mileage increases, you will end up burning out loose gaskets and lots of oil leaks. This happened to my Suburban, it's an expensive fix and very dirty until you fix it. I have to add 1 to 2 liters of oil every week while waiting to get all the parts (valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets and valley gaskets - knock sensors and intake gaskets). Replace or clean the PCV valve. or Pass Through regularly, or you will have problems, not to mention loss of power due to crankcase pressure remaining in the engine.
