Great pedometer for hikers and active walkers

I've researched many pedometers for specific needs/functions: walking, not jogging or running; Miles (km) measured and not just steps; speed in each segment; 3D function (works in any position); difficult to remove or lose; hard to reset accidentally; reasonable accuracy and size; and lastly, it costs less than $60. This item is EXCELLENT on all of the above. I played around with running and jogging and found that it wasn't very good. Walk on flat terrain and hills with 2-3% accuracy on measured paths and treadmill when worn on a belt/belt. Its very small size, strong clip and safety strap prevent it from moving. Many other good devices suffer from unintended reboots during use, but definitely not this one. The control buttons are great. The only downsides: 1. While the numeric readings are easy to read, the units for each mode are tiny. (They're organized and easy to remember though.) 2. Battery life is said to be short (3-6 weeks!?!?), and changing batteries in 2025 requires a one-minute Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment. (I only access the readings 3-4 times a day and the rest of the time the display is idle. I've had the device for a few weeks and I suspect the battery will last 8-12 weeks. It's very easy to set up and intuitive to use, and I will enjoy and benefit from it as I look forward to my Camino.
