I was a bit wary when purchasing this one but was looking for a brand new safety razor and came across this one. It's quite durable and its top is all silver. If you buy a watch with an embedded logo, e.g. B. faded dark silver, after a while it will start to fade, showing the main silver with spots on the sides. But the top is all solid silver, with no engraved dark emblem. That means the more you use it, the more it won't fade. I was a bit intimidated at first, but after trying it, it's like any other safety razor in terms of use. It's a bit different because it's heavier, but that's quite a positive because it cuts very easily due to the weight of the razor. I almost don't feel like I have to move it. I would recommend going slower at first just to get used to the weight. Don't get self-conscious. Can't comment on how easy it is to keep the blades sharp due to the magnet system as I've only had it less than a week but I'm very happy with it. It's very durable and once the magnetic top is in place it holds the blades firmly in place. You can even try to move it and it won't move. That's a good thing, too, because many old-fashioned butterfly razors open up like a flower and you have to unscrew them with the bottom handle, which sometimes unscrews while you're shaving. That doesn't happen with this article. It's rock solid. Less blade movement means a strong, fixed blade that won't wobble or slip off the top while shaving your face or head. When the top is attached, it appears to be a fully constructed, one-piece piece with no moving parts. The magnet is quite strong and holds the blade and handle head in place.
