Like others I've searched extensively and even tried a cheaper model (Belkin) but couldn't get it to work. I found this one on Revain with all the good reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I am very happy with it. I'm switching between a Sony Vaio desktop and a Dell laptop (both running Windows XP). Works flawlessly. I'm using a Microsoft Wireless Comfort keyboard and mouse. As others have said, just make sure your keyboard and mouse work on both computers. Installation is simple and easy. I also like the fact that all the cables come out the back, which keeps the desk from cluttering up with cables. (some other models have cables exiting on both sides). The cables are also of good quality and are 6 feet long. With the wireless keyboard connected, I have two more USB ports for other devices. Some have mentioned that they don't like the fact that it's USB 1.1. The box I received said USB 2.0 but I'm not sure if they switched to USB 2.0 or not because the instructions and their website says it's 1.1. Anyway, I have no problem with that. If you are looking for a great way to connect two computers with one keyboard, mouse and monitor. This is the only way. I highly recommend it.
