I bought this sound card to use with a studio microphone but decided to bypass that sound card and use a PC sound card. I've used it once since then, so it will be part of a backup plan in case the sound card fails on my desktop PC. The time I used it, it worked fine. All LED lights worked (indicating volume or volume) and the volume knob also worked. It is very easy to set up and use, plug and play and allows you to use the microphone, headphones and gaming headset. This sound card plugs into a USB port and not a lot of USB cables go in. So if used on a PC like I did, it may need to hang on the side of the PC case or screen, as was the case. with my attitude. While this sound card is intended for use with a laptop, it can be used with either. In summary I have no regrets buying this sound card because when I used it it worked well and although I don't use it now I'm sure I will use it at some point in the future. I have a studio microphone plugged into my computer's microphone jack, but after using it and experimenting with it, I didn't give a damn about the sound during recording. I decided to connect my microphone to this sound card and then connect it to my desktop PC via the USB port. Now I have better, cleaner and clearer sound when recording with a microphone. If anyone is thinking about using a studio mic for YouTube or any type of voice recording, this is excellent value for money. I am very glad that I bought this sound card!
