this one works fine. I compared it to the infrared version of the Amprobe and .

To work with it, you always need a guide. because the interface is a pain if you don't use it on a daily basis. Also the manual says press the hold button to exit the max and min value recording function. that is not right! In fact, you have to long-press the same Max-Min button to turn off the recording mode. Otherwise you cannot switch off the device. Unlike the Ac***py manual, this one works fine. I compared it to the infrared version of the Amprobe and the cheap Goertek model. The Amprobe infrared model deflected 60 degrees at high temperature, and the Goertek by over 100 degrees! This is the best choice for forge use, provided you purchase a separate high temperature thermocouple. The k-type thermocouple they supply with it is an insult to k-type!
