Because you technically have to have a disposable and affordable boat on a boat my size, we did our best to get this silly square out of the way (but accessible), and then I came across ThrowRaft. I bought an actual raft directly from them (it was a lot cheaper than Revain) and the customer service (Troy) was excellent. My purchase was marked as delivered by UPS but wasn't at my doorstep. I contacted them and they asked me to wait until Monday (it was the Friday after COB when Troy emailed me) and they will ship it out on Monday. He eventually showed up before he could send a replacement, but it was a breath of fresh air to get a response like that these days. Now - to business. Yes, it's a bit large (sizes are in the product listing - read/measure before complaining to people. I can't believe anyone would take the time to give a product 1 star because they didn't can read/measure). but it does what it's supposed to. Be sure to read the instructions, which clearly state that windows and bolt holes must be sealed with silicone. Otherwise you risk that enough water, spray, rain etc. will trigger the device inside the container. I followed the reviewer's other installation method and opted for 3M tape, that way you can mount it on the side and save about an inch of space. the boat (looks like a sailboat since he said the cockpit), don't screw it up if it gets wet and accidentally discharges.
