I've been a Genki fan since I tried the Genki dock for the original Switch version - great product...so I was curious to know what this case is good for is. My switch is light. So far I've used a thin zippered case that fully protects my switch when I'm not using it. This one is a little different. This consists of two parts: a back panel that the switch snaps into easily and securely, and a flip cover that covers the top of the switch to protect the screen. The two pieces snap together using magnets, allowing you to completely (and easily) remove the flap that covers the screen while gaming, or leave it attached. The case itself looks and feels great. It has a nice textured finish that is comfortable to hold. It says it's vegan leather, which doesn't feel like leather at all to me, but I like it and still feel good. One bonus I didn't expect when opening the case was that it came with 3 glass screen protectors. Light switch. I already have one on my Switch Lite so haven't used them yet but they seem good and come with 3 sets of dust removal stickers, microfiber cloth and wet wipes. A really pleasant surprise. Overall, this is a really good case, but if there's one thing I really don't like is that the shoulder buttons on the Lite switch are always fully open, so if you're tossing in a bag with a bunch of other stuff, they are generally not protected. For me, this is probably the case I'll be using at home to protect the Switch from dust and such, but if I'm going to toss it in my bag I might switch to another case that fully protects the Switch.
