If SSD drives are not recognized, do so.
My laptop did not recognize any of the built-in drives. I went into BIOS and enabled virtualization, some call it Intel Virtualization Technology, AMD-V or something similar depending on your laptop. After that, it picked up any disk I put in it. After that it works very well.
