Super nice brush with great cleaning! I usually buy cheap brushes and throw them away after each project. I got to the point where it's like money in the trash, but I still wasn't ready to shell out more than $30 for a brush. The quality of this brush is worth it. I've now used it on two large colorful pieces of furniture that need a deep clean. First, the brush didn't rust as long as I kept the brush full of color throughout the project. Second, the paint can be applied smoothly with minimal brush strokes; I recommend getting the brush wet the first time you start a new project, but I guess that goes without saying when working with chalk paints. Third, there was very little hair loss even on first use. Some shedding will occur but this is from normal use and very, very little. Fourth, cleaning was easy, the natural bristles bled paint easily resulting in a nice clean fresh brush. Like I said, the colors I used were bold: black and dark teal, which the brush brushed beautifully after each color!
