Luxury meets practicality

When it arrived in the mail my husband asked what you bought and why.LMAO! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐ŸคฃThis is definitely not what we NEED in our lives but 100% what I WANTED in my life. The fact that we both use it every day (yes, even him) says a lot. It's a pretty good size: 18.5 inches high and 13 inches wide (diameter). It's very easy to use. Simply place towels (or robes, blankets, etc.) inside the heating pad, cover the top with a lid and press the button. Everything in it heats up very well in 5-10 minutes and the heating pad works for up to 60 minutes. After 60 minutes it turns off automatically. I shower in the morning and my husband in the evening. In the morning a towel and some washcloths are in there and I just turn it on. When I'm done I put his towel in (still off) so he turns it on when he comes in before he takes a shower. My father had a towel warmer. It was nice but the entire towel was heated unevenly. It's good. Warm compresses are also good. I usually dampen a washcloth with water and pop it in the microwave for a few seconds to warm it up. You end up with a wet mess. Now we can have warm washcloths for compresses, they don't get wet and they don't get everything else wet. The kids love it when I warm up their pajamas before bed. I think they fall asleep faster that way. Shh, don't tell them. One thing I'm looking forward to this winter is warming up our socks. So, although it is a luxury product, it has a practical use.
