Like the others, my new pup was chewing on the factory remote from our Samsung Q75 (M/N: QN75Q7FN - for reference) and I didn't want to pay $80 for a replacement. After looking around for months and only seeing non-voice remotes, this little guy came up for a fraction of the price and placed my order right away. As soon as it appeared I added batteries and it immediately started working. . Coupling is not required! I've seen reviews from others saying they have to re-pair every time they turn on the TV, but this one worked right out of the box. So mine was good! Until I turned on the TV the next morning. I received a message that I need to pair the remote again. Annoying yes. But more annoying, why? The TV was turned on with the same remote control. As long as the message was on the screen, I can control the TV as usual. So why is it asking me to connect the remote when it's already paired? My guess (pending further verification) is that the error is entirely Samsung related. Does it show an error because it's not a factory and they want me to buy their remote? We'll find out.
