I bought it to paint at home. The hood protects the ears and face particularly well from the sun and during the working day it significantly reduces solar radiation and general heat fatigue. As an added bonus when spraying paint, it blocks overspray from the hair and sides of the face. Lightweight and breathable, yet a sun protection champion. Looks like it's in a boy band video in white but I use it for summer work and it's a lot cheaper than Columbia or other alternatives.
