I've been using this litter for almost a year now and have decided to wait a long time to see how it performs before leaving a review. We have five adult cats and three very large custom litter boxes (made from Rubbermaid's giant covered sacks as three of our cats are over 20lbs (and not fat, they are large breeds)). The age of the cats varies from 8 years (two of them) to 12+. Cat litter and cleaning is something I already feel like an expert at (I've been an indoor cat owner for almost twenty-five years). This product has been a blessing. I've tried corn/wheat based, other synthetic types, and when narrowing down the best fillers, this one was by far the absolute best when it came to smell, dust, trail, and overall enjoyment (I don't know, I'm really saying that not with a stone face, because litter boxes are not at all pleasant, but Precious Cat has made the working day much, much more pleasant than before). Three months ago I was finally ready to leave a rave review but suddenly junk from Revane kept pouring in, same bag but contents seemed to have fallen in price. This pen is now almost as dusty as what I used before, which is a big problem. The minimum aftercare qualities of this bedding have also changed and if cleaning the crates daily allowed me to get rid of small stains, now I have to vacuum every other day as this rubbish is scattered throughout the house (uncomfortable to find) . UNDER the stretched sheet on the bed as cats like to climb on the bed before it is made if we change sheets/duvets). Odor control is no longer "control" but rather "not there". We don't usually have a problem with odor as I in turn clean these boxes every day (and if I don't someone else will. With so many cats it has to be done daily or it becomes a problem). Even if it's been annoying lately. Keep in mind that once a month I completely change out the filler and give the drawers a thorough clean/wash to keep scale from building up. We kept surprising visitors to our home who exclaimed that they would never know we had five cats because it had never smelled like a litter box before. it's not like that anymore. I don't know what has happened in the last six months or so, but the quality of this litter is no better than the others. I would like to give four or five stars but now I'm starting to buy other brands. It doesn't help that Revain pulled the product off the shelves to investigate the issues (although it could be packaging/shipping issues, which I've never had a single issue with) customers are having. this product read this please fix everything you have done with precious cat litter and give me a quality product that I have been buying exclusively for almost a year. I hate buying different types of litter and cats don't really like it either.
