The wire cross-section is too small for the original wiring. Won't be long.

Wire gauge is too small for the original wiring harness. Just in case, I bought a multi-purpose professional braid ACDelco PT2298 from another well-known brand. Used ACDelco as it had the correct wire gauge. The socket fits exactly, only the wire cross-section is too small.
