Ideal for Tahoe 2003 4wd. Same manufacturer as the original. I don't even care about other brands. Timken is known for their good bearings and this one was made in the USA. I recommend purchasing a 15mm allen wrench to help with the 3 bolts (torqued to 133lb-ft) holding the hub. loosen and if you slip the 12-point wrench even a little, it can turn its head. It hurt to knock him out of his ankle. There's 13 years of dirt and a bit of corrosion in there. None of the hub removal tools looked like they would work in this case. In the end I met him. Next time I might try pushing the axle out a bit and see if I can stick a brass punch in to help knock it out from the back. I can tell you that in my case the hub is basically stuck in the bottom half; The top was pretty clean. The nut (36mm) holding the axle in place must not be reused. It was cheap enough from the local dealer, but looks like you could use blue threadlock (don't quote me). Torque the nut to 177 lb-ft.
