First off, don't buy them if you're even a tad audiophile. They are very muddy and the high frequencies get lost in the mix. Samsung headphones sound better. As for the often advertised "heavy duty" durability. they are not durable at all. Went through two pairs (under their warranty) in less than a year. Sure, the cable is bulky, but the connectors wear out just as quickly as any $10 pair of headphones. The cables are very thick and inflexible, so I consider them durable if you're afraid of pinching them, but connections to headphones, pause button, etc. fail just as often as any headphones you've ever used. . I had one earbud that completely lost sound with every pair I had. Please note that I also pack them very carefully and keep them in a safe place. Don't waste your money.
