Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Optimized Ford 3L3Z-6564-BA Genuine Rocker Arm Valve Assembly for Improved SEO by Stanley Molden

New factory rocker arms, all right!

Used 12 of these on the passenger side of my 2007 Ford Expedition. The engine developed a very loud and constant ticking. One of the rollers on the 4-cylinder rocker arm is stuck due to wear. Others were starting to show signs of wear (see Fordtechmakuloco's YouTube videos) so I replaced them all. None of my lash adjusters were bad. The new rocker arms are redesigned to have a very small pin-like hole for oil to squirt through, compared to the old ones which had huge holes. This is said to increase oil pressure and roller lubrication. You will need a valve spring compressor (a good OEM tool) and most likely a new valve cover gasket to do this job. Runs great, engine runs smooth and even, no more ticking. The truck has done 290,000 miles and counted 1,500 miles since the repair with no problems.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Operating speed
