My son's pediatrician recommended a sleep wedge during his month-long check-up to help him with mild reflux and breathing problems. I was really surprised because I've always heard about the kid sleeping on their back, period. I was skeptical about using it, but I gave it a try. It seemed fine at first but eventually slipped off the wedge as I see in other reviews. I know others claim this works great for their kids who really can't sleep on their backs, which is fine because everyone has their own. I understand that you are trying to do everything you can to get your baby to sleep. Although, of course, I always think about safety. I would say if you are thinking about using this at least see how your child is using it before you let them sleep unsupervised at night. And if it works for you, great, but it won't work for every child.
