So my little crossover SUV was hit by a big** van going 45mph when I made a left turn . My 75 pound dog was on the side of the car that was hit but was strapped into the back seat. On impact, I heard her choke a bit, but when I could check her, she just slid off the seat and onto the other side. She wasn't lying on the floor, wasn't lying on her side, and she wasn't doing somersaults. For a dog that's already a little nervous in the car, she didn't seem shaken. I'm so glad I bought this harness early as I love taking my big baby on short car rides just to get him out of the house for a bit which would have been incredibly difficult if there was any damage at all in accidents would have come. I bought 2 packs and gave the other to my friend's little 10lb puppy because I love her too and want her to be safe. We recommend.
