Review on SMELLS BEGONE Odor Eliminator Gel Beads - Air Freshener with Essential Oils - Pet Area, Bathroom, Boat, RV, Car Deodorizer - Fresh Cotton Scent - 12 oz - Pack of 2 by Judy Sena

Use solid aroma jars. You can hardly smell these pearl glasses.

I used these SmellsBegone blue gel balls all over my house from mid 2016 to early 2020 and bought them from BedB&B with coupons you can find everywhere. When you redeem one of their $10 coupons at a $30 discount, you get THIS huge "value pack" PLUS ANOTHER twin pack of 12 ounce jars - 96 ounces total of pearls - priced at about $24. This equates to $3 for a 12-ounce can. And the same manufacturer of these beads is selling the same product (under an unknown brand) in BigLots, again at $3 per jar. So their price here online is about 50% higher than on the shelves. I switched to these blue Airwick pop up cone balloons because I thought the balloons were so much better. per dollar than those little hard pop up Airwick cones. But in hindsight, these balls really are NOT very good at emitting scent across the room. You practically have to stick your nose in the glass to get a smell. The real scent is pleasant enough. They evaporate within about four weeks. I've recently switched to hard gel jars, specifically the Up&Up brand (you know where they sell them). They cost $3.49 for a 12-ounce can. But boy, they light up the whole room with scent. And the scent stays. So that's the way to go - with hard gel crucibles, not those beaded crucibles. And jars last just as long as jars with pearls. Now I look back and feel like I've spent a lot of money on blue pearl jars all these years without realizing that they emit very little fragrance.

Pros
  • USE ANYWHERE PERMANENT ODOR IS A PROBLEM. Use gel balls in home, bathroom, toilet, office, RV, boat, etc. to remove odors from smoke, trash cans, pet rooms, food and other areas where recurring odors are a problem.
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
