I ordered these in late 2018. In the winter I used them by simply running the wire from the house to the light in the barn. No problem, we thought. Then today I pulled them out of the shed and went to plug them back in and found that BOTH cables were fried on the ends from their previous 3 month use. Like black burnt ends. So, at some point, this sucker got burned and burned, but we still didn't get it. Thank god the barn didn't catch fire but 2 of the 2 we had have the same burns. I think the silver lining is that they never stopped working. Which is just as awful because we never knew the bastard was on fire until I ran it in my greenhouse this week. I'm glad I noticed. I also had a 50ft long from Amazon and it stopped working the first month we had it. I usually love basic Amazon products but would stay away from them. Unfortunately, I did not notice this problem during the warranty period. Find out.
