FIRE HAZARD - Electrical

I ordered these in late 2018. In the winter I used them by simply running the wire from the house to the light in the barn. No problem, we thought. Then today I pulled them out of the shed and went to plug them back in and found that BOTH cables were fried on the ends from their previous 3 month use. Like black burnt ends. So, at some point, this sucker got burned and burned, but we still didn't get it. Thank god the barn didn't catch fire but 2 of the 2 we had have the same burns. I think the…

Works but falls apart easily

At first this seemed like a great extension cord. It was a bit on the hard side, but I still prefer it. The only issue I noticed was that the light on the female end didn't always work, you had to bend and twist the cord to get it to light up. It doesn't seem to have been made right and you would have to bend it for the light to make contact and work. I wasn't overly concerned about this as it was just a minor annoyance, but now that I've had it for a few months and have been using it a bit…

50/50 One glowed and the other didn't. First.

The first thing I did out of the box was wire them up to make sure they worked properly. One started fine, the other didn't. I was willing to give a bad review. But I wanted to see if it conducts electricity even if it's not on fire. They spent the night in a very cold garage.
