I bought this night light for my girlfriend as she had trouble sleeping at night due to insomnia. We took it out of the box, plugged it in and started playing around with it. Exactly what we wanted! It comes with a remote control that offers more options, but you can also just use the buttons on the flashlight itself. It cycles through the red, green, and blue options, shuffles three, and even shuffles all three together. You can keep it still or moving, and it has three levels of brightness so you don't disturb people's sleep. It has an option on the remote to change the brightness of the light (3 settings) but I have a feeling it doesn't. It doesn't matter (that is, it's bright and the lowest light level isn't much different from the highest), especially if you're using this light in the bedroom. I would call it a fun and soothing light show. SUPER easy Bluetooth to set up and play. It takes a little more time to learn how to use the remote control and set up the light show. I found it FUN; but my husband was a little more upset. Yes, we were groping in the dark. The instructions are small; But once you know where the buttons are and how they are configured, everything becomes intuitive. Now he's in our bedroom and she's sitting on the bed staring at him like a deer in headlights, but happier. Her favorite lighting pattern is blue and green wavy lines with white stars. It helps her fall asleep safely and peacefully. The Galaxy Projector comes well packaged and would make an AMAZING gift for anyone. Just be aware that you'll probably want one too, so you might as well get another one.
