I've been trying to keep my number plate from creasing in a car wash for a few months. I have a new car and wanted to keep it nice with one of those unlimited monthly car wash packages. So I had a shiny, beautiful new car with a horrible looking front fascia that I kept trying to bend after washing. The dealer tried heavier cymbal holders, but they broke. I bought heavy steel frames but they buckled. I saw reviews about it and tried it, but was convinced that it cannot do the job. Instead of going around the plate like a bezel, the plate sits on top and there are only small side channels that curve slightly forward, much like a phone case protecting the screen. I wasn't expecting this at first but oh my god it really works! After several car washes, the panel has not bent or wrinkled and this product still looks perfect. I'm so glad I tried this.
