First, let me say that I'm not a gamer. I knew it was the most popular gaming processor, but that wasn't my main desire for my new computer system. I built this computer as my personal main/work computer. As for the business, it handles all the programs I need without any hassle. In most cases, the CPU score is between 6 and 20 percent performance, and memory usage is consistently below 18 percent. Personally, I have big ambitions to restore, edit and digitize analog video files (home videos etc.). Having had very good results with AMD video processors in the past, I decided to make this an all AMD system with the best components I could afford/justify. I installed the FX-8150 on an ASRock 990FX PRO motherboard with a couple of AMD Radeon graphics cards in a CrossFireX configuration and a bunch of other tools. So far nothing I've tried has weighed down the system. I bought the Black Edition but had no reason to even try overclocking.
