I use a USB 3.0 Switch Selector in my home office so I can use the same mouse and keyboard for my work laptop and home desktops. I've been using the Switch for about a month and I'm very happy with its functionality. At just over $20, it's definitely worth the price. As other reviewers point out, the front USB ports are pretty cramped. Considering I won't be constantly plugging and unplugging hardware, this hasn't been an issue so far. There's a slight delay when switching between computers, but I suspect this has more to do with the time it takes for Windows to recognize the connected device than the switch itself (its lack of) the LED indicator . There are LEDs on the switch that indicate which connection to the computer is active - 1 or 2. However, they do not light up at all. It's a dark red color and I'm lucky enough to see it even with my hand blocking the ambient light in the room. This is easier to see when looking directly over the switch, but the device's natural placement is flat on a table, meaning the device can be viewed from the edge. This makes it difficult to see the LED. I usually rely on the mouse's response to determine if the selector is properly selected. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. It works well and is definitely worth the price I paid.
